This poor rocker was found at the landfill with wonky seat springs and a busted arm.

After stripping the old upholstery and padding, we replaced the seat springs and repaired the clean break in the arm.

Preparation was just light sand to remove the old varnish finish then  it was washed with TSP Alternative. Note* removed rockers

Started with 2 coats of Goddess Ashwagandha. (Always paint without the upholstery on the frame)

Started adding the Rose gold furniture wax.

Next came the new padding and then upholstered with a print and a green velvet,

  • prep: just a light sand wash of TSP Alternative. Nothing more.

  • paint: Goddess Ashwagandha

  • coats: 2 (used 1/4 pint of paint in total)

  • finish: Rose Gold wax

  • stain: Cappuccino SFO

  • time it took me: 4 hours from prep to paint + 2.5 reupholstery hours

  • brush: StaahlMeester #18 sash brush

  • fabric: Ennis Fabrics- Ella col. Petal
