Our company has been in the business of home furnishings and custom building for 45 years! As locals ourselves, being a part of our community is important to us and we like to show it through student sponsorships, kids events, donations made to the Kenora Community Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and the Salvation Army Miracle Marathon to name a few. We have been an active member of the Chamber of Commerce since the ‘80’s and have volunteered for countless events.

Full Time year round position
job duties
Showroom sales position - greeting clients, answering the phone, handling online sale orders, helping clients with sales & quoting.
Project site visits and out of town travel (no overnights) Company vehicle provided.
Perform opening & closing procedures.
Monitoring and responding to daily communications.
Assist with digital accounts - social media & newsletters
Unpacking and displaying product - stock input, labeling and creating decorative displays
General showroom housekeeping. (dusting, sweeping etc.)
Supply runs (Company vehicle provided)
Qualifications
Valid G drivers license
Previous sales experience is an asset.
Basic computer skills - needed for POS register
Good communication and organizational skills.
Passion for home décor and design
Comfortable with boat travel
Social media knowledge is an asset.
Quick learner of product knowledge and procedures

Growth
At the end of the first six months expect: Continued product knowledge growth. Be able to process invoices and work orders on the POS. Confidently communicate with customers and carry through requests. Start gaining independence working on customer projects. Capable of being left working alone in the showroom.
At the end of the first 12 months expect: Growing comprehensive product knowledge. Confident to work independently on customer projects. Be able to navigate the POS system beyond invoicing and work orders. Track and manage materials required for projects. Develop an increase on overall sales.
