I removed and stored the glass doors (not required for it’s purpose) and took out all the glass but left the mirror just because it was to very heavy and I could paint around it.

The buffet base took three coats because of how dark it was. I had left the kick base alone because of the commercial application I needed it for and didn’t feel like cleaning every toe scuff mark.

I had applied 2 coats of Champness both inside and out.

Next I applied some of Fusion’s Antique Glaze with the applicator pad and played with how heavy I wanted to leave it.

I had a couple hours to play with the glaze before it started to dry. I Didn’t glaze inside because 1) I wanted to demonstrate the effect of the glaze and 2) I didn’t want to do all that extra work :)

Added the brass knobs to help tie in with the hutch and get away from the contemporary feel the display cabinet use to have.
